Yaarbal — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using yaarbal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of yaarbal.

2. Service Description

Yaarbal is a peer-to-peer inference routing network. When you submit a prompt, yaarbal routes your request through the network to a seeder — an independent device running a language model. Yaarbal does not operate any centralized model inference infrastructure; it provides the routing and credit settlement layer only.

3. Inference Routing and Peer Operators

Yaarbal provides an inference routing service. When you submit a prompt, yaarbal routes your request to an independent peer operator — a third party who has connected their hardware to the yaarbal network. The peer operator's seeder process can read your prompts and generated text. Yaarbal does not control what model version the peer operator runs, how they log data, or how they handle the content of your requests.

You should not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifying information through the Service unless you are comfortable with an independent peer operator being able to read that content.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that inference routing is performed by peer operators and that those peer operators can read your prompts and generated text during inference.

4. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. By using the Service, you agree to comply with the Acceptable Use Policy in full. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access.

6. Intellectual Property

The yaarbal software, brand, and documentation are the property of their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission. Model weights served through the network are subject to their own respective licenses, which are independent of these Terms.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YAARBAL MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR RELIABILITY OF THE INFERENCE ROUTING SERVICE OR THE OUTPUTS PRODUCED BY PEER OPERATORS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YAARBAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR CONTENT, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF ANY PEER OPERATOR.

You acknowledge that peer operators are independent third parties. Yaarbal is not responsible for the conduct, outputs, or data-handling practices of any peer operator.

8. Changes to Terms

Yaarbal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
